"Zen of the Labyrinth"

Designer Dave Does It Again
One of the most valuable things we bring to the table is a professional designer: Designer Dave.

You have to know what you're good at. As a farmer and entertainer, I'm fantastic. (My father might say, "One out of two ain't bad...")

What I am not, is an artist. I am a great idea guy, but when it comes to creating the functional pieces of our puzzlers and games, I have someone no one else has: Designer Dave.

We all have "artistic" friends. For hard working folks like us, "artistic" can even have a negative connotation.

Designer Dave is an exception. He is the hardest working artist I have ever met. He's supported himself from the age of 21 with his craft.

Dave's done everything from technical illustrations, to photo retouching, to electronic games, to mainstream publishing, to mazes.

Now Dave devotes his time to designing Maize Quest's corn mazes, maze games, character artwork, puzzlers and more. But, he's such a fanatical designer of all things puzzling, not even we can max-out his creative flow.

As if we don't keep Designer Dave busy enough, he's put out yet another book. This is no ordinary child's maze book, however, but what I think will be the next "Sudoku"-like puzzles for adults.

The mazes are intriguing. The artwork is polished, simple, and inviting. You've got to try it.

The book ships in June, but you can pre-order it now by clicking the book cover picture link above.

The Official Details:
The Zen of the Labyrinth. Distributed worldwide by Sterling Publications, this collection of Dave's puzzle mazes will be available in Barnes & Noble and other book stores in June of this year.

How it connects to your farm:
Our popular tile mazes are based on Dave's unique designs. See samples in our online catalog.

Guests walk on painted cement pavers to solve Dave's challenging conundrums.

Rules such as "No left turns" and "Follow the colored paths" in a sequence, keep guests entertained for up to twenty minutes.
